ICCS services, provided by a team of expert infection prevention and infection control consultants, include the following:
Development of infection prevention and control plans
On-site facility visits for all sectors of healthcare, complete with detailed reports of findings, suggestions and guidance for improvement or remediation of best practices
Assistance with accreditation survey preparation and regulatory requirements including, but not limited, to CMS, The Joint Commission, AAAHC, HFAP, DNV and AAAASF
Preparation of and assistance with corrective plans of action related to survey deficiencies
Development of infection prevention risk assessment for inpatient and outpatient facilities
Guidance and assistance with sterile processing department best practices, including onsite observation of processes and review of policies and procedures
Development of comprehensive customized infection prevention programs (start-up and established facilities). Includes OSHA bloodborne pathogen and TB exposure control plans
Infection preventionist onboarding and mentoring
Outbreak investigations including surgical site infections (SSIs) and multidrug resistant organisms (MDROs)
Development of customized antimicrobial stewardship programs to meet facility needs, guidelines, standards and regulatory requirements

Note: Our team is fully vaccinated and adheres to CDC guidelines for prevention of acquisition and transmission of COVID-19 during travel and onsite. In addition, we are fully compliant with the policies of our clients during onsite visits, including screening prior to entering the facility, receiving a rapid test if required, use of well-fitting masks for source control or respirator masks (N95), and use of additional PPE if indicated.
